Maxxis Dissector WT 29x2.40" TR EXO 3C MaxxTerra 60 Folding Tyre

The signature tyre from Troy Brosnan, the Australian DH Star. The Maxxis Dissector is designed for the optimum combination of low rolling resistance and best cornering grip. This versatile tyre is therefore actually a rear tyre, but can also be used in the front or on both wheels, depending on the surface.

Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tyre that rolls madly fast, mills precisely through curves and decelerates accordingly well if necessary. The tread pattern of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was used as the basis for this and was designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.

Technologies

3C Maxx Terra
An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.

EXO PROTECTION
An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer.

Wide Trail Casing
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tyre shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance.
WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
